– The Salesian Youth Movement – South Province had its last stop for the SALT Camp at Cebu last May 25-28, 2017. The camp was participated by 58 leaders and animators from different Salesian youth centers and parishes all over Cebu from DBTC, Punta Princesa, Lawaan, Pasil, and all the way from Liloan. The camp was also participated by representatives from Don Bosco Technical College, and St. Louis School – Don Bosco, Dumaguete.

The participants were exposed to the different realities various Cebuano communities are facing today. They were immersed in different families living in the slum areas of the city, orphanages, and nursing homes for the destitute elderly. The camp focused on raising awareness of the different social issues in order for the participants to effectively use Don Bosco’s Preventive System of Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness in guiding their respective sodalities/youth groups.
